Centro Latinx is an affinity space managed by the Office for Racial and Cultural Engagement and it is dedicated to Emory’s Latinx/Hispanic community.  Centro Latinx fosters a community of united, critical thinking, and socially conscious Latinx leaders at Emory University. The diverse cultural heritage, history, and traditions of Latinx/Hispanic peoples will be celebrated, explored, and affirmed by the entire Emory community in this welcoming space. In partnership with individuals and organizations, Centro Latinx will provide inclusion for the Emory community and support the intellectual, personal, leadership and social development of the Latinx community at Emory.

The Centro Latinx Advisory Board (CLAB) meets monthly to consult on the use of the space and programming of Centro Latinx as well as discuss issues of interest to Emory’s Latinx community.  CLAB is a 12-member board consisting of two each of the following: undergraduate and graduate members, alumni, faculty, and staff members, as well as an undergraduate and graduate Co-Chair.  CLAB is advised by Taína Figueroa in the Office for Racial and Cultural Engagement.
